Ashley Nicolette Frangipane (FRAN-jih-PAH-nee;[2] born September 29, ), known by her professional name Halsey (HAWL-zee),[3] is an American singer.
Early life
[change | change source]Ashley Nicolette Frangipane was born in Edison, New Jersey. Her mother is of Italian and Hungarian descent, while her father is mostly African American with some distant Irish ancestry.
She has two younger brothers.

She released Hopeless Fountain Kingdom in , which reached number one.[4]
